Jennifer contributes to a number of open source projects.

uPortal

Jennifer has been a committer to the uPortal project since 2007 and is currently one of the developer-elected representatives to the project's steering committee.

Jasig Portlets

Jennifer is the current Jasig Portlet Release Manager and has contributed to a number of the Jasig portlets. She is currently the technical lead for the following Jasig portlet projects:

• Calendar
• Email Preview
• Search
• Widgets Collection
• Simple Content Management

Jennifer is also an active committer on the following additional portlets:

• Weather
• Web Proxy
• News Reader (RSS)

Sakai

While at Yale, Jennifer contributed patches to the Sakai project and sat on the project's security workgroup.
